Pain Relief, Acupuncture & Laser Therapy
What is Quality of Life?
You know your pet better than anyone else, and this is where your assessment of daily life at home is an invaluable asset.
My goals for every pet include:
1) to not be in pain, feel suffering, or fear. In other words, for your pet to still be “their true self.”
2) to still be able to enjoy the activities that make them who they are “as a person.”
3) when these conditions are no longer achieved, to help them pass a good death.
Service Areas
Polly Tails travels to homes in Georgia and Florida. This area encompasses Camden County, Nassau County and Duval County. Please inquire if you live outside this general area.
Acupuncture & Laser Therapy
For pet parents interested in holistic therapy, consider adding acupuncture or Therapeutic laser to your pet’s care plan. This can pair nicely with the advances of modern medicine from your regular vet’s office. treatment can start on the first day! We also offer pain relief medication given as a once-monthly injection for cats and dogs.
End-of Life
Polly Tails offers an intimate pet euthanasia in the comfort of your own home. We provide medications to relax your pet, a memorial paw print, a locket of hair and poem. We also offer consultations for quality of life to determine if hospice care is an option, or if you are unsure of when to say goodbye.
Aftercare Options
With private cremation, you will get back the ashes of your pet in a nicely adorned urn. With communal cremation, rather than getting back your pet’s ashes, they will be spread on your behalf by the crematory. Lastly, home burial may be an option for landowners.
“With love, we come together to celebrate life.”
